My name is Beth and I am new to this site but I figured this would be a good step in finding out what happened to the State Palace Theater. I figure Canal St. is holding up its name quite well in this whole mess. I love that place like a second home and I am heart broken to see it go. If anyone has any information on the restoration of the building or on the upcoming party (Vampire Stripper Sluts) PLEASE PLEASE let me know.

I actually saw State Palace on CNN last Tuesday or so... Just a quick glance while they were showing general footage of Canal Street flooding... It had an assload of water all around it... I am no engineer but I would imagine that after they remodel the entire first level it may be o.k.
